Brief thoughts from a novice YouTuber
My creativity brings me much joy and often intersects with my Judaism and rabbinate. Over the years, I taught myself to play the guitar, write songs, crochet, photograph, bake and sundry other things.
I’m now purposely pushing myself out of my comfort zone into a new creative area: YouTube videos. While charmingly hokey, making these videos teach me extemporaneous speaking skills, video editing, basic cinematography and visual story telling. Is it uncomfortable to put myself on YouTube as a complete novice? Heck yeah. But I’m relishing the creative process and the growth curve.
I’m still trying to find my ‘YouTube voice’ but I trust this will come with time, experience, exposure and feedback. Meanwhile, if you want to support me on this new creative journey, please subscribe, drop a like and leave a comment.
