Kippah Store + Order Form

Welcome to the 'A Small Sanctuary' Kippah Store page!

After my initial 'soft launch' blog post and a one-month update, the kippah store took a High Holiday break (I am a congregational rabbi, after all) and is up and running again! I am looking forward to my 'Cheshvan' orders coming in. Hanukkah will be here before you know it: order a lovingly hand-made kippah for yourself or a loved one.

In order to make ordering and producing easier, I've decided to streamline the process by creating this Google Form. The form will walk you through several options. I've tried to make this process more intuitive so that you as a customer have more choice and versatility within the parameters of what I have on offer. (If there are any glitches in the form, please let me know).

Please keep in mind that this is a micro-business and that some choices may be out of stock. If this is the case, you will definitely be notified! Pricing and custom options are subject to change as I continue to evolve both my business model and my production capacity.

For now, there are three categories from which you can order: Option 1 (a lace-weight high quality mercerized cotton yarn), with or without beading, as well as Option 2 (a fingering-weight high quality series of yarns, either from merino wool or cotton, all without beading).

Pricing (photographic details further down this page)

1. Lace-weight mercerized cotton yarn, with beading: $40

2. Lace-weight mercerized cotton yarn, without beading: $30

3. Fingering-weight cotton or wool yarn, without beading: $20

Beading specifications*

1. All beads in one solid color: no extra charge

2. Beads in alternating 2, 3 or 4 color pattern: $2 extra charge

3. Beads in rainbow or more elaborate color pattern: $4 extra charge

(*Extra charges are to compensate the increased time and labor to sort the beads according to color and hand-string them onto the yarn. The more complex the pattern, the longer this takes. If you want other customized features, like different colors of yarn combined, a custom edging or trim or a custom kippah center, please be in touch with your requests and I will inform you of any small extra charges).
